How much do these things weigh?

Scott here...

After pushing the featherweight Tercel today for the first time I wondered what the weight difference was compared to Timmy's Subaru.  I figured it would be significant given that I halved my Subaru time with the Tercel push.

Holy fat wagon Batman.  Curb weight for the Subaru waddles in at a whopping 3,565 glute grinding, calf curdling, flexor flogging pounds.  The Tercel is exceptionally light, which is good since the mouse on a paddle board housed in the "engine" compartment is getting rather long in the tooth.  But hey, we don't need that silly rodent anyway.

At only 1,950 pounds the Tercel has to be one of the lightest vehicles in the neigborhood aside from Craig's Vespa.  This is good, because when we decide that we are falling short of the lofty goal to look like the cast of 300, we can simply up the ante and push a weightier vehicle.

I am having visions of Matt's huge triple axle Potelco truck being pushed by a group of slightly obsessed individuals that resemble, but don't quite mimic, the physique of digitally enhanced Spartan warriors.  Push on comrades, push on.
